Chapter 265: Old Madam Greyson
She decided to completely ignore him. Acting as though he was not sitting in the bedroom, she made some
noodles and returned to the room. Then she walked out unto the small balcony and sat to have sfresh air.
She sat on table and started eating without care. On the couch, he felt uncomfortable when she ignored him that
much. This girl had a temper.
It did not help that he was still in his work clothes. He took off his tie and jacket, unbuttoned his shirt and rolled
up his sleeves. Only then did he feel a little more. She soon returned to the room and saw his relaxed state and
frowned deeply. She went into the kitchen to wash her bowl. When she was done, she returned to the room and
climbed into bed.
"No dinner for me?" he asked. Seeing her completely ignore him, he felt the urge to mess with her.
"I don't know what you like to eat," she answered and he raised a brow.
"I like to eat women," he said and she stiffened, but refused to back down.
"Go ahead then," she responded in defiance.
"Okay," he got up from the couch and climbed into bed.
He grabbed her frightened form close to him and laid on top of her, settling between her legs. She was brave
when she had spoken, but when he moved, she almost died inside.
"I don't mind if I do," he said and she tremble slightly. Seeing the position they were now in, she turned red and
tried push him off, but he was too heavy.
"Get off," she protested.
"But you said | could," he chuckled darkly.

"I-- | was joking, please get off," she pleaded. He did not want to. For sreason, he wanted to melt into her.
He felt comfortable here and did not want to move. He could not understand this sudden rush of emotions.
"Why did lie that you are my wife?" he asked, "It can't be you have this habit, right?"
She was greatly offended by his words, "I told you that day didn't I?" she asked with a deep frown. Did she? He
could not recall. He raised a brow at this.
"I was not listening," he said, "Did you?"
She too could not quite recall much of what happened in the car that night. She just did not like the way he had
talked or the words that cout of his mouth.
"Then, tellagain. If you explain it well, I will get off you," he promised.
"I was just avoiding the police because | have a bad history with them. Someone stalkeda long tago and
| tried to get their help, but he was a police officer. They did not believe that he could do such a thing, so the
police spread news that | am a liar trying to destroy his life. Every t| met with the police for any reason, this
cup. They would either not takeseriously or think | am at fault. | just don't want to see them, okay?" she
explained. And his eyes darkened greatly.
Hazel was not sure how she slept that night, but by the tshe opened her eyes the next day, Marcus's strong
arm was wrapped tight around her midsection, gluing her back to him in the process. She froze; the complicated
situation of the last night made a waltz through her brain. She was from shocked to fear, to confused to terrified.
The moment she woke up, Marcus knew, but he did not want to let go. He watched freeze, panic, then struggled,
before stopping.
"Mr. Green, Mr. Green," she called, growing frustrated every second he did not seem to wake, "Marcus!" she
called.
"Was it so hard to call my name?" he asked and let go. She escaped the moment his arm loosened, dashing into
the bathroom and returning a minute later to get her clothes. He glanced at the ton his phone and back at
her hurried state.
She would be late if they did not
leave in twenty minutes. He got up and adjusted his clothes, knotted his tie and wore his shoes. It was not as
though he could not wake up early and wake her too, be he was hoping she would wake up late. She hurried out
of the bathroom ten minutes later completely dressed.
"Since you did not manage to get your things back., | will send someone to pick up all that you have packed,"
Marcus said and she paused. How did she forget that she was moving in with him?
"Just everything by the door and nothing else," she said and he nodded.
She ran around the room for a while, his eyes following her every move. She was dressed in a black pant suit
again. He stood by the door and waited for her. She tied her hair up and they left her apartment; from the time
she left the bed to when they left the house, barely a word was spoken between them.
They got into the car and drove in silence for a while, before her phone rang again. She picked it up with a frown.
As expected, it was her grandmother.
This old lady has been absent for years. Why did she call?
"Yes?" she answered.
"You really have no manners," the person on the other end said.
"If you have nothing to say, | am going to end the call," Hazel threatened.
"You are threatening to have your sister jailed?" the old woman asked. Hazel finally understood why. She had
found evidence from the
surveillance footage of the club net

investors. She had handed this all to the police and had been talking to a lawyer.
She did this while trapped in Marcus' hthe whole day because she had found out through the media that her
father had traveled. Knowing him, he was not going to entertain any disturbance while traveling for work. She
figured that when he cback, it would be too late to reverse.
For her grandmother to call, Jenny must have been arrested.
"What a funny statement. Jenny, is the one who did something wrong and was arrested by the police, yet the
way your mouth is sprouting it, someone could think | own the police," Hazel answered.
"Your sister is getting married next week. You need to be there," the older woman said.
Hazel felt as though she had just heard something ridiculous. This old woman was biased towards this step sister
since young. There was no need to assshe would ask what happened.
Even if she did, Hazel was sure she would not take her side.
"She still dares to marry? Oh... she is pregnant, so you all are rushing. It seems you are all bored. Is it that Jenny
does not want to marry the trash she picked up and is looking for a reason to scatter the wedding? Why would |
give you such a free service?" Hazel said. "You would dare spoil her big day!?" the woman scolded.
"Hey, Old Madam. Greyson. Don't
you dare raise your voice at me, Don't think that because you are far and | can't stap you from here so you can
throw your weight around Are we friends? Do | have a good" relationship with you? What makes you think |
would not dare to go to Jenny's wedding with a spiked club?” Hazel asked and the woman on the other end was
shocked speechless.
Jenny had said that Hazel had changed, but she did not believe it one bit. Yet this girl dared to raise her voice at
her.
"What did you call me? | am your grandmother!" the elderly woman raged.
