Chapter 110 Adding A Very Interesting Person
The first tAmanda visited, she presented herself charmingly to Elliot but harshly criticized Maura when he
was out of earshot, claiming Maura couldn’t even brew a proper cup of coffee-too hot or too bitter.
Maura had perfected her coffee-making skills over a decade, mistakes were unlikely. Amanda was evidently
nitpicking.
On one occasion, Amanda intentionally spilled scalding coffee on Maura’s hand, berating her for such a “simple”

Elliot's attempts to reconnect through culinary successes seemed futile to Jason.

Smiling, Jason pulled out a chair for Corynn before he accepted the friend request on his phone.
“Jason, you seem cheerful today,” Corynn observed, noting his subtle smile.
“Just added an interesting person,” Jason replied, his tone light.
Corynn felt a surge of relief wash through her.
Perhaps Jason had found someone special; it was a thought that made her genuinely happy for him.
