Chapter 564 Noelle even began to wonder whether the phone call was just an illusion or maybe even just a dream. She tossed and turned on her bed, unable to fall asleep for the entire night. She wanted to know what was the relationship between Cedric and Laura.
Noelle recalled that Laura had brought Cedric food when he was hospitalized back then. She had thought that they were simply just friends. She had also thought that Laura was much closer to Alfred instead and didn't think further about it.
But now, looking back at things made her realize that something was off.
Noelle could tell that Laura had been harboring hostility toward her for a long time. She had assumed that it was because of Samantha, but now, she realized that it was because of Cedric! It was no wonder that Cedric was saying strange things during dinner at L Bistro yesterday. She wondered what exactly he was hiding from her.

She hesitated for a moment but eventually decided not to give him a call. Noelle was not in a particularly great mood, and she returned to her room to freshen up before heading downstairs.
By then, the rest of the Liddell family was already awake.
The moment Noelle saw Donovan, she said, "Where's the money? I still don't have it yet." "I'll have Amos transfer it to you later," Donovan replied.
"Do it now, or I can't guarantee what I might do all of a sudden." Noelle was now like a ticking tbomb, ready to explode with one wrong move. Donovan also noticed her foul mood. He knew that if he pissed her off further now, she would do just about anything.
He eventually pulled out his phone to transfer the money. "Happy now?" Noelle took a look at her phone and remained silent, lowering her head to eat breakfast.
As Wyatt and Xenia entered the dining hall, he turned to Noelle and said, "Do you remember what I told you yesterday? I told you to move out of your room!" Noelle lost her appetite instantly. She stood up and walked toward Xenia, which startled Xenia to the point of turning pale.
Xenia explained, "Wyatt, let's not fight with Noelle for the room. It's not right." Xenia noticed Noelle's foul mood and realized that if she angered Noelle enough for her to mention the video footage, her life would be over.
Noelle walked past the two of them with an annoyed look and left the dining hall. Xenia breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Wyatt, the room was left for Noelle by your parents. We shouldn't take it from her." Wyatt was dissatisfied. "It's just a room that our parents left behind. Does she have to be so petty about it?" Lucas could not help but retorted, "Wyatt, if you're so generous, why don't you give Noelle all of your inheritance from Mom and Dad?" "Why should I?" asked Wyatt.
"It's just smoney that our parents left behind. Do you have to be so petty about it?" Lucas's reply hit back at Wyatt just as hard.

"What's the difference? It all cfrom our parents," Lucas replied. As Qm he looked at Wyatt, Kefelt like he was looking at his past self, who was blindly loyal to Xenia and treated Noelle unfairly. Lucas could not help but warn Wyatt. "Wyatt, you're going to regret it if you keep on treating Noelle like this."
"Bullshit. I won't regret anything," Wyatt replied with conviction as he held Xenia's hand tightly. She was the woman he loved. Xenia lowered her eyes as a smirk appeared on her face. She wanted nothing more than to take everything away from Noelle.
After leaving the Liddell residence, Noelle went straight to the cafe across from her university. She spotted Laura the moment she stepped inside, still dressed as elegantly as ever, like a socialite.
Noelle herself did not know what she was feeling in the moment as she walked over to Laura. She sat down and stared a at Laura. "Why did you have his phone last night? What did-" She trailed off with her own words, unable to continue further.
Laura stirred her coffee with a spoon and smiled. "We were together last night."
