Thomas inside?”
The gatekeeper hesitated for a moment before nodding. “He is.”
Without another word, Viola’stormed inside, with Poppy following nervously behind her.

Poppy's legs were trembling, but she couldn't stop her mistress. How could they just barge into the Farrell

her.
Alice had never seen Viola so stubborn. She was at a loss for words, but Opal finally spoke up.

Viola responded with just one sentence: “I want to see him!”
That was all she said. No matter what else they asked or how they tried to reason with her, she wouldn't
answer.
