Chapter 123
Kelvin didn’t tell anyone in the family before taking Yvonne back to the Adler family.
At noon, it was tto cat.
He entered the front yard with Yvonne in his arms but did not encounter anyone on the way.
When he returned to his yard, the fishes in the square pond in front of the hall were alive and kicking, splashing
everywhere.
The fishes, which usually ignored others, were now swimming lively,
Yvonne leaned over his shoulder and looked into the pond. After glancing at a large group of red and white
fishes, she said, “Dad, they are so fat.”
Kelvin glanced at the group of fishes that paused in the water and laughed softly.
“Indeed.”
On the holiday, Jeremy fed them once in the morning, and the maid fed them once. The old man used this as an
excuse to feed them three or four times a day, so they becfat.
According to this feeding method, sooner or later, they would be ill because of fat. But the nourishing flowers in
Charles’s room made up for it very well.
After waiting for Yvonne to admire the fish, he walked into the living room.
Neither of them found that as if the group of fishes that were complained by Yvonne could understand, so they
swam to the shady corner where the sun could not shine.
As he reached the door, Kelvin stopped in his tracks.
The door to the living room was open. Someone was talking, and the voice cclearly from inside.
After listening to a few words, his expression gradually becdark.
The person inside was complaining.
“According to my understanding of Dad for more than ten years, he will never bring Yvonne back.”
On the sofa, Jeremy uttered with confidence.
“Why can Mr. Holmes take Yvonne away, but Dad can’t do it? In the final analysis, it’s because Mr. Holmes is
shameless!”
When he said so, he suddenly felt a chill on his back and rubbed his arms subconsciously.

He didn’t think much about it, thinking that the door was not closed and the wind blew in from outside.
Retreating his gaze, he continued to analyze.
“Dad has a strong sense of morality and has always been in a passive position. He will not take the initiative to
fight for it.”
Sitting lazily on a wooden bench, Vic raised his eyes and smiled meaningfully.
“I don’t think so,” he said.
“Vic, believe me.” Being refuted, Jeremy sat up straight and got serious.

“The Holmes family just found Yvonne and liked her so much. If we don’t fight for it, even if Yvonne wants to
cback, she can’t say it because of Tinley.”
He didn’t know what had happened to Tinley, and what he said was all his imagination.
He had confidence in Yvonne. As the first person to discover Yvonne, she must have relied on him the most.
After saying this, Jeremy was proud.
However, in the next second, a cold voice rushed into his cars.
“Jeremy, your last injury doesn’t hurt, right?”
Hearing the familiar voice, Jeremy reflexively got up from the sofa.
He looked in the direction of the door, guilty, but the next second he was stunned.
The expression on his face changed from apprehension and guilt to joy.
“Yvonne!” His eyes lit up, and he excitedly walked over and reached out. “Welcback!”
Yvonne opened her arms and wanted to jump into his arms.
However, Kelvin turned aside on purpose and did not let Yvonne fall into his arms.
Jeremy was just happy and hadn't found out his action yet.
He had completely forgotten what he complained about just now.
“Dad, you are so amazing. How did you get Yvonne back?”
Kelvin was in a good mood and didn’t bother to teach him a lesson. If not, Jeremy would have been beaten up.
Yvonne had a smile on her face, and her eyes swept around the house. Finally, she raised her head curiously and
asked. softly, “Where's Charles?”
“He’s in the room!” Jeremy stood up excitedly and ran upstairs. “I'll call him over!”
Charles must be very happy to know!
If it weren't for his body not allowing it, he would have wanted to carry Charles down.
In the living room, after sitting down with Yvonne, Kelvin’s cell phone rang.
He took it out and saw that it was an unexpected person calling.
After connecting, the voice from the other side cout, quite calm.
“Hello, Mr. Adler. It's me, Robert.”
They met at a dinner in Blorence City before and exchanged contact information.
However, Robert only said one sentence, and the phone was taken away by Nina.
Her voice was not as calm as Robert's.
“Mr. Adler, you have a good relationship with the Holmes family. Can you help us ask where Marian is?” she
asked.
Nina was a little anxious. She hadn't heard from Marian for three days. When she asked the Holmes family, they

anything.
“Since Marian is not the Holmes family’s child, why didn’t they let us see her?”
Hearing this question, Kelvin was silent for a few seconds.
Of course, because they haven't found out yet.

After checking and confirming that Marian was not a threat, she would be sent back.
Jeremy took Charles downstairs, saw Kelvin on the phone, and quietly took Yvonne away from his arms.

Kelvin glanced at him and didn’t say anything. He slowly explained, “She has a token of the Holmes family. They
will let her go back after they find out that there is nothing wrong”
Nina was even more anxious when she heard this.
“Isn't it Yvonne's necklace? The two of them were in the sorphanage before, and she might have taken it
wrong. How could it take so long to find it out?”
Kelvin rubbed his eyebrows.
He didn’t want to be so thorough.
“That necklace was stolen by Marian and discovered by the Holmes family,” he said.
Nina was stunned, breathing heavily.
After a long time, her voice cout in disbelief, “No, no way! Marian is not very interested in treasures and
jewelry. She won't do that.”
Nina had always wanted a daughter. She had been with Marian for more than two months. Most of the time, they
were harmonious.
When she knew that Marian was the lost daughter of the Holmes family, she thought about forming a good
relationship with Marian so that she could visit her more in the future.
Who knew there would be such a big misunderstanding?
Kelvin didn’t say anything. Nina still couldn't believe it. There was a pleading in her voice.
“Mr. Adler, can you letsee Marian? | want to ask her what's going on.”
This time, Kelvin quickly replied, “I can’t decide.”
As he spoke, Jeremy, who was playing with Yvonne on the other side, raised his face.
He pointed at the phone, opened his mouth, and suppressed his voice to be very, very low.
